Cuteness

Here are some pics of the girls from the weekend:

Julia and her bubble bath beard.

Jenna and her bubble bath hat.

Jenna's latest bit of cuteness: She likes to hug her stuffed animals (which she calls her babies) and yell, "OH, BABY!"

Julia's latest bit of mischievous cuteness: The other day she told me she'd love to be involved in a food fight. "Why?" I asked her. She said, "Because mashed potatoes and gravy flying through the air is a fine sight in my mind."

Oh... and yes, that is a pink bathtub with pink tile. (Really sort of a peachy-pink.) Gotta love those houses that were built in the '50s!

We had pink tile and a pink tub, as well as 2 pink sinks, and a pink toilet with a white shell-shaped toilet lid when we first moved into this house. A flood and State Farm helped us remodel. We can probably assume that the other bathroom in the house is green?

Actually the other bathroom was an add-on later and then we remodeled it. It's yellow and white -- really helps us wake up in the morning.

I grew up taking a bath in a bath tub that looked EXACTLY like that! I loved it! White/beigh tiles so over rated. What little girl wouldn't love a pink/peach tub?!

Hey - we have that exact peach tile & tub in our bathroom! What did you used to decorate... besides cute little girls covered in bubbles? I had the hardest time finding colors that match. Our other bathrooms are very pink and blue - complete with tile, sinks, and toilets. I do love my 50's house!!

When I was growing up in Waco, Texas, we had a pink and black bathroom....same shade of pink as yours!

The tile/tub in my bathroom is very much like that. I choose to call it beige. And I just put up a pretty shower curtain and keep it pulled so we don't see the tub and tiles. Hey, it works for me.

And yes, cute girls in bubbles. But watch out, they might get nicknames, like "Bubbles" Julia and "Sudsy" Jenna.
