A blog that is more organized

I updated the links on my blog so they're not all lumped together. First, I have "Blood Blogs," or people who are related to me in some way. Then I have "Friends' Blogs," and then "Blogs of People I Haven't Actually Met." Then there are my links to "Rampant Consumerism" as well as "All About Me." I'll add more links later -- the Wiggles tape Jenna is watching is almost over.

One note about the Wiggles -- don't those guys seem to be enjoying all that singing and dancing around a little too much?

so my blog isn't 'new' anymore...maybe I should stop writing on mine for a few years and delete the whole thing and start over, then it would get the 'new' designation again?

me thinks that since you now have 'Blood Blogs', you may get some searches for people identified with the Crips and the Bloods, or maybe people looking for Westside Story blogs....

I was very happy to hear that all the Wiggles are happily married!

Years ago, a friend bought my kids a Wiggles Tape. I popped it in and it drove me so nuts, I threw it out. (Ssh, I never told my friend). :)

I've been enjoying your blog... you're hilarious!

It was actually something we discussed, when expecting our third. Would she like the wiggles, too? Would she want to watch those guys, too? Maybe she will like something else. I mean, there is a long history of annoying kid shows we've had to endure in our 5 years of parenting. Remember the tweenies? The doodlebops? ugh!

Thankfully Wiggles was after my children's time, and Barney almost was.

And, double thankfully that "Sarah" remains at the top of your links list. Why you ask? "Sarah" is my gateway to "Abby Lo" that my oldest daughter has recommended I read. So, daughter, how do I find "Abby Lo"? Well... you go to Deanaland, scroll down her links, go to Sarah, then scroll down her links and go to Abby Lo. My, don't these computers make our life so much easier.

Hey - The Wiggles are true greatness!!! I regret that I am not the one that came up with the idea! And Captain Feathersword originally trained as a Shakespearan actor.

So three cheers for The Wiggles, Henry The Octopus, Wags The Dog, and Dorothy the rose-eating Dinosaur (now THAT is a little strange...)

Two of The Wiggles were in an '80s pub rock band The Cockroaches. They're still just as icky.

(BTW, Deana, take a peek at my blog for suggestions as to where you might celebrate your daughter's baptism into Chwist. And, yes, "take a peek at my blog" came off a bit more ribald than I'd intended.)

My son is a Wiggles fanatic. I excuse this by saying, 1. they have helped my son's speech, and 2. three of the four Wiggles have backgrounds in early childhood education.

And what's wrong with really enjoying that singing and dancing???

Tina -- one thing I do like about the Wiggles is that they encourage kids to get up and move around instead of just sitting there watching. I just have to take them in small doses!

Hey, I'd act like a dufus and jump around and sing with a stupid grin if they paid me the kind of scratch those guys probably make.
