I have nothing but empathy for you; we've been in our new location for a little over a year, and I still haven't made any real connections with people. The fact that we live 40 minutes away from church doesn't help...
BUt with your energy level and personality, I know that fitting in and finding friends will not be a problem for you. I'll be praying for you, Deana.
I am sorry you are sad. I would be, too. But then again I would be leaving good friends like CP! I hope this is something to look forward to: We spent the night Mon. pm in LR on our way home from vacation (Tenn. - Smoky Mts). We went to the children's museum downtown and it was one of the best we had been to. My daughters (10 & 8 ) loved it and begged not to leave. It was really neat, especially the Tech Room with robots, rollercoasters, etc all built with Legos! You can build with them yourselves, too! Hope this can cheer you up some and give Julia something to look forward to. (I think it is called Discovery Museum for Children - we found it on the internet before we left so I know you could look it up)
I'm a wife, mom and writer. I'm a Texan who just happens to live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I love watching my children when they're sleeping. I love rock music way too much. My husband is the most incredible blessing God has given me. I eat right out of the ice cream carton when no one's around.

Some days I still am. It's difficult to leave the place where your babies were born and started school. Missing friends, places, familiarity, etc.
Sorry - I should try to cheer you up! :-)
