We watched "The Notebook" last night. Is there something wrong with me that I found it annoying? At least the 2nd half. I knew what they were trying to do with the movie, but for some reason it just didn't work for me.
Blasphemer! In all of your spare time, what w/ being a mom and famous writer and all, have you read any of Nicholas Sparks' books? They're great if you love to cry and picture romance that just doesn't really exist. I loved the movie and am a Sparks addict... though today I cried while watching the Newlyweds. Hormones, they just aren't very nice.
Same here..liked the movie, but there really was alot of social pressure to REALLY LOVE THE MOVIE. I maybe a wierdo, but I sometimes can't stomach Nick Sparks.
I loved the movie. The books "The Notebook" and "The Wedding" are really good. However, don't read "Message In a Bottle". I threw it across the room when I finished it. I was so mad. UGH! Waste of time!
I really enjoyed the book "The Wedding." However, I know this sounds sexist, but I just can't get into a man writing such a sappy love story. Do you think he chops wood in his spare time or pick out flower arrangements? You decide.
It seems we have a common thread my friend. We watched it last weekend I believe it was. I didn't cry. I teared up a smidge when James Garner started crying, but I didn't get anywhere near as moved as EVERYONE and their uncle said I would. Thought something was wrong with me! Thanks for normaling me up!
P.S. See, I really do read your blog ... and I actually am indeed able to post comments!
Clarissa don't feel bad I had the book in my night stand for a year before getting to it and I never saw the movie. Really when do all you mommies find time to read? I barely get to go to the bathroom by myself let alone get to read! :)
I'm a wife, mom and writer. I'm a Texan who just happens to live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I love watching my children when they're sleeping. I love rock music way too much. My husband is the most incredible blessing God has given me. I eat right out of the ice cream carton when no one's around.

LOL Steph . . . I work nights in a small town. If there's nothing going on (like from 2-4am), I'm reading. ; )

I likes the movie, I just bought it for my wife. I've never read any of the books though...I don't like to read books.

I'm not sure what is so exciting about the manufacture of a laptop computer ...
