The Little Grown-Up

This morning my 5-year-old and I were waiting in line in front of her school for the teachers to get her out of the car. I always let her unbuckle early so she can get out quickly when it's time. Today after she unbuckled, she hopped into the front seat. "I'll be sitting here until further notice," she said.
