I haven't posted one of these in a while, so here goes:

I've always liked Madonna.

Go ahead. Say what you will.

When I think Madonna, I think: strong, independent, savvy businesswoman, outrageous dressing (in the past), loving mom. Lauren knows I can't hear Madonna's name without thinking what a horror it was to pick her up from daycare, after Kindergarten, and have her singing "like a V-----, for the very first time", which she had heard on a skating rink field trip. Not exactly what you want your sweet child to even hear, much less be singing.

Well if we are being honest about our thoughts on Madonna... I described her to my boys (Who were then still very young, about your ages, and thought she was great) that she was jsut a B__ch. It was the first time they'd heard me say such a thing about a person. But she had that book out with all the vulgar pictures and she was singing "like a virgin" when we all knew she was anything but. Although, I say all of that to say, she has a lot of musical talent. I'm still not sure I believe the whole "good mom" act though.

I think this clearly illustrates that the world as we know it will end soon. Have we know remaining shame? Beware, the wrath of God is upon us! Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

I just learned how to spell yesterday. Must be these protein shakes I'm hawking. That should be "no", not "know". Oh, and repent or die.

    Love,

    Pat
